The shaded red field is subtly shaded and complemented with soft grey and accents in subtle yellow and pale blue

Slight loss to fringes and some fraying on the edges

Farah Rug 200 x 125cmA 1930s northwest Persian runner of Surahani design. Dark blue field with some abrash, giving a pleasing variation of dark and lighter blues. Ivory outlined linked medallions in pole medallion form; terracotta main border of spaced medallions within octagons; pale blue boteh guards. Slight wear in places with some corrosion to dark browns.
